Voyage of the Astrolabe Collection

The voyage of the Astrolabe was France’s last and greatest scientific voyage of discovery by sail. The Astrolabe would discover and claim a vast collection of botanical and zoological specimens in both New Zealand and Australia.

This 1826 to 1829 voyage produced a vast series of copperplate engravings including Botanicals and Inserts. This antique print collection is quite a unique and special for any home.
