Heritage Editions reproduction of an Italian map of Australia by Cassini. an uncoloured reproduction production of an important and rarely seen copperplate-engraved map by Giovanni Maria Cassini, who flourished as a mapmaker between 1776 and 1884. Incorporating Captain Cook’s charting of the east coast of Australia, it was originally published in Rome circa 1801 by Calografia Camerale, for Cassini’s atlas, Nuovo Atlante Geografico Universale.
