The Palace Morell is a large mansion situated on the Borne, the principal promenade of the city, and its patio is entered from a back street
This palace is remarkable for the elegance of its lines, and for the stucco decoration adorned with reliefs and coloured by an Italian artist Antonio Soldatti.
Most other palaces in the area have been whitewashed but at the time of printing, Palace Morell retained the original colours. The open attic and the stone plinth continued around the circular doorways and painted in a lavender grey at the time
The main cornice is marble
